NICOLA HAGLUND

Practice Manager / Vet

Nicola has been a part of the team since 2003, Initially at the vet clinic, formerly known as Chapel Street Vet care where she became Practice Manager in November 2017. Nicola has purchased the Clinic from The Vet Clinic Group and will trade as The Vet Clinic Wairarapa which means we become a locally owned business from April 2023. Nicola grew up in the Far North on a mixed farm – sheep and dairy and finishing beef. She studied Veterinary Science at Massey University graduating in 1995. Making the move to Masterton in 2002 with her husband Nathan whose family has been present in the Wairarapa since the 1800’s.

SARAH WOLLAND

Vet

Sarah was raised on a dairy farm in the Taranaki, she graduated from Massey University in 2000. After her first job in dairy practice in the Waikato Sarah went to the UK to help with the foot and mouth outbreak. Staying on to locum around England for another couple of years.

Sarah moved to the Wairarapa around 2005 and has been at The Vet Clinic Wairarapa formerly Chapel St Vets since 2011 in mixed practice. Sarah has a wide range of knowledge in all areas but particularly enjoys the companion animal medical and surgical side of the practice.
